Oh boy, let me tell you about this sintra engagement session I photographed. It was out in Lagoa Azul and Santuario da Peninha, and let me just say, it was a wild ride. We had some ducks hanging out in the lagoon, which was pretty cute if you ask me. But the real kicker was when a goat decided to crash the party and surprise the couple up in the mountains near the sanctuary. Can you believe it? I mean, who knew goats were such hopeless romantics? Anyway, it was a blast and I’m so glad I got to capture those special moments for the happy couple, we had a blast in this sintra engagement session.

First up is Lagoa Azul, a stunning blue lagoon surrounded by lush greenery. The water is crystal clear and perfect for swimming or just lounging on the shore. Trust me, it’s worth the hike to get there.
Next, you have to visit Santuario da Peninha. This hilltop sanctuary offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. You can see for miles and it’s the perfect spot for a picnic or just to take in the scenery. Plus, the chapel on the grounds is absolutely beautiful.
Overall, I highly recommend visiting both Lagoa Azul and Santuario da Peninha if you find yourself in Sintra. The natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere of these places are truly unforgettable.
