Challenging Expectations: A Date Session at Lagoa Azul, Sintra

Hey folks, today I want to share with you a super fun photo adventure I had with Pedro and Madalena, a couple of lawyers who, let’s face it, are awesome! But I admit I initially felt a bit intimidated because there was some pressure to meet their high expectations. But hey, who’s afraid of challenges? Not me!

So, we decided to explore the stunning Lagoa Azul in Sintra, and off we went. These two, who aren’t big fans of romantic clichés, were challenged by me (yep, fearlessly!) to get into the “love” mood right from the start. But of course, no forced poses or cheap tricks.

Midway through the session, I started playing with the shadows and light on the lagoon, creating portraits that captured their unique essence without needing mushy hugs. And in the end, I dared to grab one of my crystals and try some overlays, even though I knew this might not be exactly what they had in mind.

But you know what? In the end, I nailed it! I managed to capture the true essence of these two amazing souls while still adding a touch of my personal inspiration. It was quite a challenge, but it was worth every moment.

So here’s the lesson: never underestimate the power of creativity and authenticity, even in such a breathtaking setting like Lagoa Azul. And of course, always be willing to step out of your comfort zone. After all, that’s where the magic happens! ✨
